If you had a wired room thermostat t4 would have connected to that and thence to the zone valve motor but if replacing that with hive you short out the two switch wires to the thermostat or link them together at the control centre wiring panel to simulate that stat always calling for heat. Install the hub wait until the light flashes amber wait until the status light flashes amber it will show find then connect on web or mobile 1 add the thermostat 3. Firstly connect the hub to the household. Then connect the hub as follows. Hub lights installation and start up.
Ensure that the power is turned off during this processyou may have separate breakers dedicated to your ac and furnace. The hub do not disconnect the hub. If flashing multi coloured is attempting to connect to the continues after 5 minutes contact technical hive servers and update itself. Before removing any wires from your current mounting plate take a picture and attach the sticker labels included inside the user guide to these wires. There would be no wires to t1 and 2 with this system. We recommend that you install hive active heating in the order shown in the diagram below.
